Red Queen (Book Review)

Sorry for being inactive lately. We moved to a new house and I've been busy with school.

Anyway, here's my review of Red Queen. First thing, two words, MIND BLOWN.. and that major plot twist! OMG you should read the book.

I could not wait for the next book! I rate it 4.5/5 stars. :)

Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins (Book Review)

Rating: 3/5

To be honest, I didn't like the book much.. It was okay. and it took me 3 days before I could finish it. I don't know, I just didn't feel the story coming into me. Again, like Anna and the French Kiss, this one is also a cute story,

What I didn't like in this is that:

1. Max is Lola's boyfriend in this book, and I didn't like how he was cool at the beginning and ends up being such a jerk at the end. What happened was totally unreasonable.

2. The age difference is such a big deal in the book. I do believe in age doesn't matter. It's just a freakin' 5 year difference. What is the matter with that? And to think that they living in the present makes it more hard to accept.

All I can say is the book is okay, and still worth reading. I think I just loved Anna and the French Kiss so much that I expected so much in this book.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (Book Review)

Rating: 4/5

What can I say, I loved this book, to be honest. It's not very dramatic but the story kept me turning pages. I finished this book in one day. I can't believe it! I usually finish a book in 2 days but I got hooked with this.

Anna Oliphant and Etienne St. Clair are such cute couples and their story is something to look forward to in the book. The setting is in Paris and what I like about this is that it makes me giddy. XD I love that it's setting is in Paris and the story is perfectly imperfect.

I am not a fan of chick-lit because I think they are too cheesy but many of my friends recommended it to me and yes, I was hooked. It has a heart on the book, a feeling that it's not just all about love, it is also about friendship. When I read it, it feels like I am also in Paris, having a tour.

Overall, I rated it 4/5. Not bad but not so very very good so I can't give it a 5. It's a feel-good book so I recommend it to you.
