Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins (Book Review)

Rating: 3/5

To be honest, I didn't like the book much.. It was okay. and it took me 3 days before I could finish it. I don't know, I just didn't feel the story coming into me. Again, like Anna and the French Kiss, this one is also a cute story,

What I didn't like in this is that:

1. Max is Lola's boyfriend in this book, and I didn't like how he was cool at the beginning and ends up being such a jerk at the end. What happened was totally unreasonable.

2. The age difference is such a big deal in the book. I do believe in age doesn't matter. It's just a freakin' 5 year difference. What is the matter with that? And to think that they living in the present makes it more hard to accept.

All I can say is the book is okay, and still worth reading. I think I just loved Anna and the French Kiss so much that I expected so much in this book.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (Book Review)

Rating: 4/5

What can I say, I loved this book, to be honest. It's not very dramatic but the story kept me turning pages. I finished this book in one day. I can't believe it! I usually finish a book in 2 days but I got hooked with this.

Anna Oliphant and Etienne St. Clair are such cute couples and their story is something to look forward to in the book. The setting is in Paris and what I like about this is that it makes me giddy. XD I love that it's setting is in Paris and the story is perfectly imperfect.

I am not a fan of chick-lit because I think they are too cheesy but many of my friends recommended it to me and yes, I was hooked. It has a heart on the book, a feeling that it's not just all about love, it is also about friendship. When I read it, it feels like I am also in Paris, having a tour.

Overall, I rated it 4/5. Not bad but not so very very good so I can't give it a 5. It's a feel-good book so I recommend it to you.

A Thousand Pieces of You - Claudia Gray (Book Review)

I loved this book! When I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. It took me to different places and dimensions, it was like time travel. I loved Marguerite and Paul and Theo.

It was a journey of place, time, dimension, art, mystery, culture and romance. Yes it is a love story-scifi-related book that talks about a girl named Marguerite who's parents are scientists who invented this thing called Firebird that allows it's users to travel into different dimensions. Then, her father was murdered and one of their assistant, Paul, who is the handsome guy, escapes into other dimensions. As Marguerite follows him for revenge, she'll discover something that will turn her world around. That I wouldn't tell you, you have tor read the book. :) .

Stunning, beautiful, unique, amazing story. That's what I describe it. I was satisfied after reading the story. It's a thing that I haven't read or watched before. I didn't cry because I'm not much of a sad book liker, but something in this story that made me liked this book. I can say that this is my favorite book so far. (Aside from it's very cute, cool and beautiful cover).

Even though the story is fictional, it felt real, it was like I was there too. A few books could do that to me. So this book is one hell of a good one. While reading, I was able to guess different things. I had a lot of guesses and one of it was in the story.

So yeah, the book was nice. I loved it! I might be reading other Claudia Gray books, she's such a very good writer.

Looking for Alaska by John Green (Book Review)

John Green is a very good writer. I liked the twist of the story and it caught my heart. After reading it, I felt very sad. If you're not a fan of sad stories, don't read it but if you are, I definitely recommend this to you.

I won't be posting any spoilers because I feel those who have read reviews that have spoilers in it. It sucks as hell, spoilers ruin your eagerness to read.

So the story is about a guy named Miles Halter, also knows as "Pudge". Although, I like Pudge a lot because I felt like Miles is a name of a girl. Hehe! So Pudge moves in to his new school in Alabama. He was then introduced by his roommates to a mysterious, beautiful and emotionally confused Alaska Young.

The story isn't for conservative people though. It has a lot of sex, foul language, drinking and smoking content though there's nothing gratuitous about it in the book. If you have an open mind, then you read this book.

To be honest, I couldn't put the book down. I wanted to learn more about what is happening as I turn the pages. When I was done, it was satisfying but left me a bit into tears and a little bit of heartache.

You won't cry a lot, it's more on the feels, what you will feel deep inside but as for me, it has given me an attachment just like the two main characters did to each other.
